I love Amazon Prime Day as I always end up buying more on that day than I mean to! And, I think, there are millions of other people who think the same. Actually, according to Amazon over 250 million items were bought during the two days last year! Now if you are an author, this is great for you! So many more chances to sell your book.
I was invited to talk to a group of authors a while ago about Goodreads.com which is a terrific website for readers and a must for any author or aspiring author. My talk went down very well and seemed to be of use to everyone, judging by the comments I received afterwards, so I thought I would share some of it with you today.

Google Alerts is a great, but under used tool which could help authors find more readers and extend their reach throughout the internet.
